MOBILE AND INTERNET 5G ARE NOT THE SAME

The market is now on 5G. Mobile technology '5G' on the one hand, and Internet
service provider '5G' on the other. At first glance, it may seem that both '5G' are the same technology. Moreover, the recent marketing of FiveG by internet service providers has created more dilemmas among the users. So what is the real 5G? Are these two technologies the same or completely different? If so, how appropriate is it to spread the word?
5G Vs 5 Ghz
Wi-Fi technology is also known as '5G'. In this case, the way Internet service providers are promoting, can't be totally wrong.

Although the two technologies are known as '5G', technically these two are completely different. '5G' offered by mobile service providers is a sophisticated and latest version of mobile technology. Moreover, this is a new revolution in mobile technology which has brought a new dimension to the mobile internet. In terms of both speed and latency, this technology is much more effective than previous mobile technology.

On the other hand, the '5G' provided by the internet service provider is also a new dimension compared to the old one in terms of speed and latency. The 5.2 GHz frequency is much more effective than previously used 2.4 GHz frequency for Wi-Fi. In this way, both technologies can be considered as the latest and advanced technology. But, in reality, there is a big difference between the two. In the beginning, there is a big difference in its name. In fact, the nomenclature of the two technologies is different.

Mobile technology is the fifth generation technology, abbreviated to 5G. Similarly, the Wi-Fi technology running in the five GHz frequency band has also been abbreviated to 5G (5Ghz) for convenience.

Mobile service technology has reached 5G through 2G, 3G and 4G, which provides hundreds of times more speed than 4G. This low-latency mobile network has been hailed as a major achievement to date. Today, 5G mobile network has come into use in many countries of the world.

While mobile 5G is being tested in some countries, internet service providers are expanding and marketing the new technology of '5G' Wi-Fi on a large scale. But Wi-Fi's 5G is not the fifth generation. Before that Wi-Fi used to run at 2.4 GHz frequency.

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi provides long coverage but the speed is slower. On the other hand, 5.2 GHz Wi-Fi gives more speed but less coverage. This feature of Wi-Fi router makes the difference between 2.4 GHz router and 5.2 GHz. If you have a 2.4 GHz router in your neighborhood, Wi-Fi in one house is reaching up to four or five houses (especially in urban areas). On top of that, there may be multiple routers in the same house as well. In this case, one Wi-Fi router interrupts the signal of the other Wi-Fi router. This will cause more problems in the Wi-Fi of the 2.4 GHz router.

Dual band routers are now popular in the market, including both 2.4 GHz for long coverage and 5.2 GHz for good speed over short distances. But Internet service providers are marketing 5G as branding. Thus, Internet service providers prefer to use word 5G routers instead of dual band routers. Which further confuses the user.
