HOW ARE PEOPLE FALLING IN THE ADDICTION OF MOBILE?

Man made a net of the Internet and today people are getting into the net. The problem is not of smartphone but we do not understand how it is controlling our brain.
Mobile Addiction
All keypad phones before smartphone were only a 'tool', which we could control. But today's smartphone is 'Manipulated Intelligence Machine'. Because behind our smartphone there is working of a high level technology that can be called super computers or artificial intelligence. This is far more powerful than our intellectual capacity. It has been controlling your habits, ideas, thoughts, besides your attention.

Nowadays, along with smartphone users, use of internet has also increased. By the time, technology is also developing. Previously the desktop computer was used which has large screen and the position of our bodies were also fine in it. Our arms get comfort, the body would be at 90 degrees and screen time was also less. Then the laptop came, where the screen was short, changed our body position. The screen time in the laptop was more and now arrival of smartphone whose screen size was reduced has also changed your body position. Even children and young women and parents are addicted to smartphones.

Troublesome to use a mobile for a long time
We have seen our children at home using mobile for several hours. On one way, the smartphones we use has become a type of magnet to drag our attention. The free social media which we use is not really free, because it is taking a large value of our time and personal privacy. More amazing, many of us do not know about the problems that it causes.

Dopamine is one of the harmone which generates a type of excitement on our body while using mobile. Its addiction is similar to nicotine and alcohol. Giving mobile phones in the hand of small children is similar to allow them to become addicted and they do not know how to get out of it. It is actually a matter of severe topics, whose solution has become inevitable.

Netflix has a documentary called 'The Social Dilemma'. If you haven't seen this documentary, you must watch it once. In this documentary there is a brief overview of the free social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter's business model and algorithms. Here users have become the product of these 'big tech' companies. These companies compile everything we search for and create a model. Putting each person's model in their system, they guess what user's next move might be and show the same type of ad. Not only advertising, here they control your attention by recommending another video to keep you on their platform and you don't seem to have spent much time. And your precious time is wasted.

This method is called 'rabbit hole' in the field of psychology. This is to imagine a complex bizarre or difficult situation as a hole in which someone falls. More and more social media companies are hiring attention engineers who know how to gain people's attraction. Their job is to keep your attention on their platform for a long time. The code created by these engineers is executed by AI and AI does not have any sense. There is only one goal and that goal is to get your attention.

One word that can be seen on the internet right now is 'nomophobia'. That is, the fear of being out of cellular phone contact. Even if a person does not have a mobile phone in his hand for a short period of time, there is a problem of anxiety, fear, loneliness and boredom. Problems such as sweating, irritability can also be seen in today's children. The mobiles we use are becoming more attractive day by day. That is why most of us use smartphones. There is nothing wrong with using a smartphone. But getting addicted to it is a bad habit.

While using mobile, it gives happiness for a while but does not give inner satisfaction. Instead, it only gives pleasure for a few moments. It's really fun to go to the field and play football and cricket with your friends instead of playing games on your mobile for hours. No matter how much you play on mobile, you are not satisfied. Because it is virtual. Unrealistic things cannot give satisfaction. And people stay on the mobile to get this satisfaction. They like to scroll more and more, like to watch more videos.

No one seems to be using a mobile phone by sitting staright, everyone is using it with their neck bowed. When you use your mobile phone with your neck bent for a long time, problems come up in our body. It can damage the posture of the body and can cause problems such as dizziness, loss of balance, feeling of fear, and many more.

In the real world, there are limits to what you can do, but in the online world, there are no limits. There is no stoppage of mobile phone addiction. We are now living in a virtual world, where whatever we do feels empty. Therefore, mental problems such as depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness are also increasing.
