IMPORTANT TRICKS OF GOOGLE SEARCH

How many times a day do you do a Google search? Sometimes you may be frustrated with more information than you are looking for, or you may not find what you are looking for.
Google Search
Sometimes there is no time to search for too long. What do you do to get the information you need from this vast ocean of information? Today we are discussing some tricks that can be used to find the information you want on Google.

1. Search by date
If you are researching a topic and you only need information about the past five years, you can filter your search results based on that date. Searching for information based on the date only provides information about the time you need. To do this, go to Google's search box and type in the information you need, then click on the 'tools' option at the top right of the screen. Then click on the 'any time' option just below the search box. In it you can set the time based on the past one hour, 24 hours, one week, month and year and get information only about that time.

2. Remove unnecessary keywords
Sometimes you may be annoyed by unnecessary information other than the one you are looking for. Google can provide all the information available based on the words you type in the search box. In that case you can remove unnecessary keywords. If you put (+) in front of the required word, Google will make your search result more specific. If you put (-) in front of a word you don't need, the information related to that word will not appear in the search results.

3. Search the file
Another way to search for the information you need is to searching the file type. This means that if you only need a PDF file about software engineering, then typing filetype: pdf software engineering only provides PDF files related to software engineering. You can also type the same file type for Word file or PowerPoint file.

4. Do an advanced search
Everyone knows how to do a simple search on Google. But most researchers use advanced search to filter their results. You can filter your search results by a specific word, sentence, number, language or region. To do this, go to the search box, click on Settings on the right side of the screen and click on the Advanced Search option. There you will find various search options. You can search results based on that option.

5. Use shortcuts
If you do not want to use any filters or even use Advanced Search, you can use Google Search Shortcuts. For example, you can use quotation marks (""). Enter the word you want to search for ("software engineering") and search. Similarly, if you are looking for a social media account of an organization or an individual, put a (@) or (#) sign in front of the name. You have to search for a word, but if you do not remember a word, you can put an asterisk in its place.

6. Use Google Voice
If you need any information and you don't have time to type, you can use voice. For this, click on the mic icon on the side of the search box. You can also search for information by saying what you want to find. For example, if you want to know about today's weather, click on the mic icon on the side of the search box and say 'weather'. You will get the information you need.

7. Use timer
There is a great need for timer or time counting feature in daily life. Go to the Google search box and type 'Timer'. The timer then appears on the screen. You can then set the time according to your needs. Google will remind you when your time expires.

8. Search for two things at once
Sometimes when searching for one thing, you have to search for another thing, then you have to open another tab. But if you want to search for two things in the same tab, you can use 'and' or 'or' between the two things. For example, if you want to know about Mark Zuckerberg and Metaverse at the same time, search by typing Mark Zuckerberg and Metaverse or Mark Zuckerberg or Metaverse.
