The company's website shows that most Nokia phones, including the Nokia G21 and Nokia G11, have run out of stock in these two countries.

However, HMD Global's tensions are not limited to this. Nokia phones are no longer seen in many European countries which include not only important markets like France, Spain, Italy but also Finland, the company's own country. For the time being, Nokia's only smartphone G21 is available in this area.

Apart from this Nokia X20, X10 and some other Nokia phones are also available in UK. A company called VoiceAge EVS LLC has filed a lawsuit against HMD Global for using its enhanced voice service (EVS). This standard of audio coding is especially used in VoLTE. This technology is used when calling on LTE mobile network.

However, the lawsuit alleges that HMD did not obtain a license to use such technology. The company has not said how long the unavailability of smartphones will last.
