Of course, before this, from 2019, WhatsApp had made it possible to forward a message with a lot of shares to up to 5 people at a time. Similarly, in 2020, the company further reduced the limit to one person at a time. Even though it was a hassle, before this, users could send messages to their friends one by one. WhatsApp is now preparing to ban it.

WhatsApp under Meta is now making it possible for a single user to forward a message only one person. If any message is shared more than 4 times, the company will take such message as most shared.

According to WABetaInfo, the company that provides information about the beta version of WhatsApp, the company is preparing for a new limitation to prevent over-sharing messages. This feature is seen in the beta version of WhatsApp 2.22.7.2. The company did not say when the feature would be available to the general public.
